We hurried to get to the cold storage place here in town. We definitely need some of that product for our next sales. But Jim went through it picking and choosing what we wanted. Then we'll go back Monday to get the rest of it.
Our motel is pretty low class. They gave us an upgrade (thank goodness) but it does have problems. It's so old and run down, but cheap. The electrical outlet in the bathroom doesn't work. The only outlet in the 'front room' area has both the TV and the light plugged in. In order to use the computer, we had to unplug the light. The sink in the kitchen area doesn't have water. Jim put milk in the refrigerator and it froze. There's no electricity outside for the truck. And there's more............ the curtains are in a class by itself. Besides being ugly and not matching the room's decor, they set away from the window in such a way that anyone walking by can see in - between the curtain and from the side. We finally pushed the couch in such a way that it holds them closed. ENOUGH!! Just know that it's bad and that we get to stay here FOUR nights.
The best thing about today is that my youngest granddaughter turned 4 today. Her preschool did a pumpkin train ride, so everyone got to celebrate her birthday. And tonight her Dad had a birthday party for her. She's one special little lady.
