September 23 - 24 Longmont, CO

We had a noon sale in Ft Morgan.  That was our first time there.  One lady thought she was being helpful, so she put about five orders together.  Then when she came in, she wanted to pay for all of them separately.  It took an hour to do what should have taken less than 15 minutes.

Our motel has had it's challenges.  When we walked into the room, I could hear the refrigerator chugging away.  It didn't quit either.  So we asked for a different room.  In the morning when Jim was at the front desk, he heard another couple complaining about their noisy refrigerator.  It kept them awake all night.  It wasn't the same room either.

In our new room, I kept feeling like I was getting bit, but never could see anything.  When we came back into the room Sabbath afternoon, I KNEW I was being bit and could see the fleas.  So we asked for a different room again.  The front desk lady was so nice and sympathetic about it.  She gave us a can of bedbug and flea spray and offered to wash our clothes to get the bugs out.  I did the wash, using their commercial machines and their quarters.  It was a nice way to spend a Saturday night.

We drove to Jan and Anna's for Church today.  We stayed for lunch.  We'll get together with them again in a couple days.

Jim has made our schedule so tight this trip, that the Sabbath becomes even more important to us as a day of rest and recharging our spiritual batteries.
