Now I am current! I hope never to get as far behind in my blog as I was this time. I did make some notes, but I didn't write in a journal as I usually do. It's hard to tell one day from another when so much of it is alike.
Jim took the truck in to get the generator fixed. The truck also doesn't want to shut off sometimes, so they worked on that too. But tonight, it was doing the same thing, so he will need to take it back tomorrow morning to work on it again.
He also had to go to cold storage, to pick up more product to restock the trailer. He picked up a couple pallets of the canned food before he went to have the truck worked on, so that he could work on that while they worked on the truck. Then later, he had to go back and get the frozen food.
I did the washing and other stuff here in the motel while he was gone. Funny how quick that accumlates. We were almost out of clean clothes so that was necessary. If we had room to bring more clothes, doing the laundry wouldn't be so important so often. But then it would be a bigger job to do.
There's a restaurant here in the motel, so we went over there for a late lunch/early supper. Good thing too. The electricity went off here at the motel for a couple hours this evening while we had a big wind storm. I'm sure that they couldn't serve anything.
Now it's 10:00 P.M. and Jim has decided to quit for the night and I'm finally caught up on my blog. What a deal!
