We got a late start on our trip, as usual. Jim noticed that we had two tires that were low so we stopped and had them fixed. One had a screw in it and the other had a problem with the valve stem. It took quite awhile to get them fixed.
The trip trought Oregon to Winnemucca reminded us of all the trips that we made through there 20 years ago when we were going to California to get Jim's kids for Christmas or the summer. That's one long trip through the desert.
We found the church okay, but it had a small parking lot with an icy driveway. They had snow a couple days earlier, alot of snow. When we were finished, we had to back out. They were very good about helping us. They were a nice group of people.
We had supper in a casino. They usually have good and cheaper food there, but you come out smelling like smoke. I don't like it. But sometimes there just aren't any other choices, especially within walking distance of the motel.
