July 13 - 19 Lenexa, KS

Three weeks after my surgery, we flew to Kansas to see our children and grandchildren and a couple of friends. Actually it was almost easier to take it easier out there than at home.

We spent the first few days with Laura and her sons, Chase and Cole. Then the next few days with David, Suhare and Victoria.

We spent a couple of those days swimming with the three grandchildren and several hours at 'Pump it Up'. I'll attach pictures. Remember a picture is worth a thousand words, especially when I'm two months slow in writting in my journal.

We loved our time there, but it was so hot and humid. We just aren't used to that anymore. The morning after we got hoome, when I went outside, it felt COLD! It was in the 70's.

We spent our 28th anniversary in Kansas. That's where IT all begin, so it's only right to go back and celebrate our beginnings.
