August 7 Reno, NV
We went back out to the camp to pick up the semi so we could get on the road. About five miles from the camp, Jim heard a ''pop' somewhere on the truck. He stopped but couldn't figure out what happened. We drove down the mountain safely and stopped for fuel in Carson City. Once he turned off the motor, the truck wouldn't start again. And it still hasn't. They towed us to Reno to a Freight Liner Dealer. We got there just as they closed. They don't think they can even look at it until late tomorrow afternoon.
There's two really good things about this. One, is that we have the car with us, so we're not stuck at the dealer or in a motel without transportation. Two, is that we're not on our regular route. Being laid up a couple days would mess up our schedule big time. The Lord takes care of us in so many ways, all the time.
