Today was almost perfect. First of all, the weather was fantastic, not too hot, cold or windy. The programs all went so smooth. We had 300 plus people, which is a nice turnout for our school. And that's especially since this is our first alumni since the school closed.
Dr Dick Stenbakken had the Church Service. He did one of his special Bible characters. You almost felt that it really was the actual man up there on stage. As always, the Lord blessed his work. You could feel the Spirit of God in the room.
Lunch was not only great, but Joy had decorated the room with spring colors. It was lovely.
The afternoon is always so neat, getting to visit with family and friends. It was my sister, Ruthie's 50 year class and Beckie's 40th year class. They were both here. It's funny - we live in three different states. We all had outfits that were black and white and looked alike. We got pictures showing how beautiful we are.
I do so enjoy visiting with our friends. I got to spend some time with the Harvey's whom I love dearly. And I spent time visiting with so many others.
Saturday night the Alumni played basketball and we sold hot dogs for supper. All the food was donated, so we had a great profit!
Instead of visiting when we got back to the motel, we went to bed. Even our bones are tired. We were asleep by 11:00, which was early compared tot he other nights.
